GREENSBORO, N.C. - University of Miami baseball player Yonder Alonso stirs up a lot of excitement on the baseball field. Rated the No. 5 college prospect in the class of 2008 by Baseball America, Alonso became only the second freshman in Miami history in 2006 to lead the team in home runs and RBI. Off the field, he cooks up a lot too. ACC All Access reporter Heather Catlin gets a cooking lesson from Miami's Yonder Alonso.

The Duke men's lacrosse team defeated Virginia 11-9 on Sunday afternoon to claim the 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship at Klockner Stadium in Charlottesville, Va. The ACC title is the fifth overall (1995, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2008) for the Blue Devils and their second consecutive. The Virginia women's lacrosse team upended No. 1 seed Maryland 10-9 to capture the 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship at Scott Stadium on Sunday. This was the third conference win in a row for Virginia and the 200th career victory for Virginia head coach Julie Myers. ACC All Access recaps the men's and women's Lacrosse Championships.

Seven ACC football players were picked in the 1st round of the NFL Draft. On this week's Hog Blog, Mike Hogewood spotlights Virginia's Chris Long and Boston College's Matt Ryan, the 2nd and 3rd picks in the draft.
