GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference will continue its ACC Sportsmanship Awareness campaign by highlighting Spring Sportsmanship Awareness Week from April 9-15.
During competition from Monday, April 9 through Sunday, April 15, every league team will showcase its continued dedication to sportsmanship by participating in a pregame handshake prior to each contest. In addition to the teams’ efforts, the conference and member schools will continue to highlight the program to its fans through releases, across social media platforms, videos elements and official websites.
“Sportsmanship remains a priority within the ACC,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “We will continue to highlight and emphasize its importance throughout our league and specifically to our teams and fans.”
