CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Raycom Sports announced the launch of the Official ACC Sports application exclusively for the next 12 months on Nokia Lumia smartphones. The ACC Sports application can be downloaded on the Nokia Lumia 710, now available at T-Mobile, and the forthcoming Nokia Lumia 900 with AT&T. Through the new partnership, the application will be free to ACC fans for two years. This includes select live football and basketball syndicated ACC Network telecasts from Raycom Sports.
The ACC app for Nokia Lumia brings fans innovative, first to market features, including:
- Live streaming with integrated stats. Browse team, player and game stats without leaving the live game.
- Full ACC Basketball Tournament bracket. Panorama view makes it easy to follow your favorite team’s run to the title. ACC students, fans, faculty and alumni can stay connected with daily features, latest news, standings, live games stats and daily VOD content from the ACC Digital Network. VOD offering includes ACC Now, Breaking News, Plays of the Week, Athletes of the Week, Game Highlights and features on former ACC athletes.

The Atlantic Coast Conference is now in its 59th year of competition, the ACC has long enjoyed the reputation as one of the strongest and most competitive intercollegiate conferences in the nation. Since the league’s inception in 1953, ACC schools have captured 124 national championships, including 66 in women’s competition and 58 in men’s.
