In ACC women’s basketball, the seventh-ranked Duke Blue Devils, led by Jasmine Thomas and Krystal Thomas, are at the top of the league heading into the home stretch of the regular season. Miami is in the middle of a historic season and just won back-to-back games against ranked opponents for the first time in school history. ACC All Access women’s basketball expert Debbie Antonelli provides her assessment as the regular season rounds the corner into tournament play.
Duke men’s basketball’s Kyrie Irving was well on his way to becoming the nation’s best college basketball player when a toe injury derailed Irving’s promising freshman season. Instead of being in the running for national player of the year, Irving has become the self-proclaimed best cheerleader in college basketball. ACC All Access goes one-on-one with Irving as he recovers from his injury.
North Carolina men’s basketball brought in an impressive freshman class that included Harrison Barnes, the prize recruit. Barnes struggled through December and January but as the calendar turned to February Barnes has caught fire. In the Hog Blog, Mike Hogewood says Harrison Barnes is now living up to the hype.
