ACC LIVE, FOX Sports Net's weekly, half-hour, signature program series covering the Atlantic Coast Conference, continues Monday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. EST. Originating from the network's Atlanta studio, host Mike Goldberg focuses upon basketball action and previews the Virginia - North Carolina women's hoops bout which immediately follows ACC LIVE at 7:30 p.m., on FOX Sports Net.
ACC basketball analyst Debbie Antonelli is courtside at Carmichael Auditorium in Chapel Hill, N.C., and along with Goldberg, she highlights the conference battle. Virginia, with an 8-1 conference mark, is atop the ACC standings, after winning 12 of its last 13 games. Cavalier freshman forward Schuye LaRue leads Virginia with 15 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Tar Heels forward LaQuanda Barksdale leads the league in scoring and rebounding, averaging 17.5 points and 9.3 boards per contest.
Georgia Tech senior guard Danielle Donehew is profiled on this week's "Front Page." This season, Donehew broke Georgia Tech's all-time three-point record, by hitting more than 205 treys in her career. Last year, the Canton, Georgia, native hit 86 shots from beyond the arc in setting the single season mark. On Oct. 9, 1999, Donehew was selected as Miss Georgia Tech during Homecoming.
This week's "Hot Ticket" features the men's basketball matchup between Virginia and Duke. The Blue Devils are atop the conference standings with a 7-0 record, while the Cavaliers are second in the ACC with a 5-2 league mark. Monday's ACC LIVE also spotlights the men's hardwood action from the weekend.
