Florida State and Northern Illinois face off for the first time. The Seminoles will be making their ninth appearance ever in the Orange Bowl. The Huskies are the sixth different opponent the Seminoles have faced in the Orange Bowl.
Duke leads the all-time series 88-17, including a 23-1 mark under Mike Krzyzewski. 21 of the 23 victories have come by 10 or more points. Duke is 29-3 after the turn of the calendar under Coach K.
