Pittsburgh vs Syracuse | 2013 ACC Football Highlights

First year ACC programs Pittsburgh and Syracuse clashed today with the winner gaining bowl eligibility. It was Pittsburgh who claimed it, overcoming two turnovers en route to a 17-16 victory. Tom Savage was 28-41 for 218 yards, a TD and INT. The biggest play of the game was a crucial time-out taken by Pittsburgh head coach Paul Chryst. With one minute remaining and Syracuse down just one point, they called for a fake field goal. Chryst, alertly realizing the alignment, called a timeout before the play could result in a go-ahead touchdown.
