TheACC.com Presents 2013 ACC Basketball Legends Series

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the league's official website, theACC.com, will highlight the Class of 2013 ACC Men's and Women's Basketball Legends through a special series of features.

The legends series begins Monday, February 18 with Boston College's Gerry Ward and Amy LaCombe. The series will conclude on Saturday, March 2 with ACC Legend Gene Corrigan. Each day between will feature a pair of legends, by alphabetical order of school.

Each online feature will consist of a written Q&A accompanied by a video piece, provided by the ACC Digital Network. The series will provide fans with more information on the accomplishments of these basketball greats, both on and off the court. The 2013 ACC Legends will be recognized during their respective ACC Basketball Tournaments. The women will be honored at the annual ACC Women's Basketball Legends Brunch, which will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. in the Guilford Ballroom of the Sheraton Four Seasons Hotel. Later that day, they will be introduced to the Greensboro Coliseum crowd at halftime of the first semifinal game.

The men will be honored at the annual ACC Men's Basketball Legends Brunch, which will be held Saturday, March 16 at 10 a.m. in the Guilford Ballroom of the Sheraton Four Seasons Hotel. Later that day, they will be introduced to the Greensboro Coliseum crowd at halftime of the first semifinal game.
