The ACC Digital Network Previews the ACC's Top 25 Players to Watch

Wednesday August 21, 2013

ACCDN host, Jeff Fischel showcases some of the best College Football players from the ACC.

Charlotte, NC – Beginning today, the ACC Digital Network is launching a new preseason football feature, "ACC Top 25 Players to Watch." The daily segments, exclusively on the ACCDN, will feature some of the best players in the ACC that fans should watch this season. Starting with #25 Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston and #24 Georgia Tech safety Jamal Golden, the ACCDN will release two players each weekday, culminating with the #1 Player to Watch on Wednesday, August 21st. (see list below)

"To pull this list together with our production team, got me fired up for football season even earlier than I usually do. We start strong, right away, with a look at player number 25 who has never played a college game, and who hasn't even been pronounced a starter yet,” said Jeff Fischel, ACCDN Host. “And we will finish with a number one who could end up being the number one college football player in the country.”

Fans can follow the #ACCTop25 daily and provide feedback through Twitter @theaccdn.  The complete list with videos to watch can be found on theACC.com.

“We are excited to share this #ACCTop25 Players to Watch series with the students and alumni of each member school in our conference as a way to welcome in another great ACC football season,” said Matt Carstens, EVP & GM for the ACCDN.  “We look forward to following these student athletes on the football field this fall and encourage our passionate fans to provide their feedback on who they'll be watching most closely to our host, @JeffFischel as we roll out the Top 25.”
