This week’s show will highlight Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers. After leading Auburn to its first national championship in 53 years, Newton continued his success in the NFL, breaking Peyton Manning’s rookie passing record en route to NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Hear how his hard work and dedication led to his successes both in college and the NFL. Also hear why giving back to the community is an important part of his life off the field.

We also visit with North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner. Entering his senior season as the signal caller for the Tar Heels, expectations are high for Renner, both in his performance and leadership. See how he is spending his offseason preparing under the tutelage of his father Bill, a former high school coach and football player for Virginia Tech and the Green Bay Packers.

Then check in on two of the ACC’s most exciting players, running backs Stefon Diggs of Maryland and Duke Johnson of Miami. As freshmen, both players provided explosiveness and energy to their teams and quickly became stars. Hear how they plan to fulfill those expectations during their sophomore campaigns.

And ACC Road Trip will travel to NC State. Host Tommy Kane spends the day with the nationally-acclaimed veterinary school tending to animals, in addition to touring the on-site creamery. Then attentions are turned to tailgating before the Wolfpack upset of Florida State.
