Four @ACCMLax Players Selected in the First Round of the MLL Draft

The ACC led all conferences with 20 players drafted

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Duke’s Jordan Wolf, a three-time All-ACC selection, was taken with the second overall pick by the Rochester Rattlers in the 2014 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft in Philadelphia, Pa., on Friday evening. In total, 20 ACC players were selected in the eight-round, 64-pick draft, the most of any conference. 

Three more ACC players were taken in the first round after Wolf. Fellow Blue Devil Luke Deprey was drafted by the New York Lizards with the fourth pick, while Maryland’s Michael Ehrhardt was selected by Charlotte with the seventh pick and Virginia defenseman Scott McWilliams was chosen eighth by the Boston Cannons. 

All six Atlantic Coast Conference schools saw at least on player drafted led by Duke with six draftees, Maryland followed with four selections, North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia each had three players drafted, and Notre Dame had one player hear his name called.
