Charlotte, N.C. – Raycom Sports will preview the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference football season this weekend with the ACC Blitz Kick-Off Special, hosted by Tom Werme and Tommy Bowden.

Werme and Bowden, who host the ACC Blitz studio show every Saturday at noon preceding the ACC Network game of the week, break down each school’s strengths, weaknesses, schedule and key players.

The show includes features on the #1-ranked defending national champion Florida State Seminoles and the reigning Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston, the return from injury of Miami’s explosive running back Duke Johnson, and the expectations for Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley.

And look back at Duke’s run last season to their first Coastal Division championship, and the honors and accolades earned by ACC performers last season, including Aaron Donald’s award-winning season for Pitt.

In addition, Werme and Bowden focus in depth at the quarterback position in the ACC, cover the first year in the ACC for head coach Bobby Petrino and Louisville, and discuss the impact of Notre Dame to the ACC football schedule.
